Meet the Founder

Adriana Martin is the founder and lead consultant at Adriana Martin Consulting. Adriana brings over 10 years of development experience including strategic planning, campaign counsel, annual fund campaign development, major gifts campaign work, donor relations strategy, and coaching of development professionals, board members, and organizational leadership.

When asked what she loves about this work Adriana said, “What I enjoy most is seeing my client succeed and coaching them on their journey to success. Whether it be a major gifts campaign, annual fundraising initiative, capital campaign preparation or leadership transition support, my goal is to ensure each client meets their goals through strategic planning, critical thinking, genuine relationship building and the courage to go outside their comfort zone to reach their greatest potential and beyond.”

Professional Coaching

Development Staff Retreats

From coaching a development professional who is beginning their development career journey, to empowering Development Directors to lead their team to their highest potential, Adriana Martin Consulting will guide professional development coaching sessions to allow each client to perform at their highest potential and hit their personal growth milestones while simultaneously achieving organizational goals.

Collaboration is key to the strength of any development team. During one of Adriana Martin Consulting’s Development Retreats clients have the opportunity to examine team strengths and how to compliment one another, review the fundraising basics or discuss strategies to truly uplevel the organization’s development work. Retreat agendas and length will be decided on with the client to ensure a retreat that will best serve the client’s needs.

Campaign Readiness Assessment and Feasibility Study

Launching a new campaign is monumental for a community. Adriana Martin Consulting will assess current giving strategies and trends within the organization and community, review the proposed vision and plan, test the concept with key community members and provide guidance on how best to move forward in order to see the client’s campaign vision and goals come to life.

Adriana Martin Consulting has partnered with 6 independent schools in the Greater Seattle Area, multiple non profits and provided one on one professional coaching for numerous development professionals since launching Adriana Martin Consulting in 2021.

This work includes annual fund campaign planning, major gifts campaign strategy and execution, development staff and head of school coaching for relationship building and major gift solicitation, feasibility study development and execution and board education in development.

Each client we have partnered with has met or exceeded their campaign goals, seen an increase in average gift size or an increase in participation and number of donors.
